Khanzekia is uninhabited by both people and animals alike. Over two-thousand years ago the planet was full of creatures and lush forests with thousands of lakes. One of the creatures were called Zekth. These creatures appeared to be more like humanoid toads that only reached the small size of three feet tall. They were fast and could cling to rock, trees, or almost any surface. They excel at group work when hunting prey with Earth magic, however, they are soft-bodied and physically weak. They burrowed into the ground and made their own caves to serve as homes. Another species that lived on this planet were the Faxoid; crocodiles that stood on two feet and reached heights as tall as seven foot. The Faxoid were more intelligent than the Zekth but have no magical power. They build their cities in the middle of lakes and hunted using tools like swords, hammers, and spears. With their greed to expand their homes onto land they began to destroy the habit of other creatures. The Zekth being their main target due to their high population.

The Zekth were forced to go into hiding deep underground. This is where they discovered a cave full of glowing purple crystals known as the Fujuya stone. These living crystals that had a heartbeat of their own seemed to heal any injury with just a touch. Without attempting any research on these stones some of the Zekth swallowed the crystals whole. With the crystal inside wounds seemed to heal fast on their own. Foolishly this lead the Zekth to believe they were now invincible and returned back to the ground above to fight for their homeland. They were successful in pushing back the Faxoid, however, the Faxoid had discovered Crystals of their own under the lake. These crystals were also living but green in colour, they are known as the Hjaskt Stone. Unlike the Fujuya stones the Hjaskt stone originally absorbed impurities under the water, however, once out of water they instead absorb magic.  The Foxoid used these stones to defend against and weaken the Zekth.

Next, Something happened that was unexpected for both sides. The Hjaskt stone reacted with the Fujuya stones inside the Zekth. The Fujuya stones that once healed them changed and instead began to eat heath. Within minutes the Zekth began to shrivel away as the crystals literally ate them alive. The Fujuya crystals evolving to become Fujuyak stones.

After devouring the bodies of Zekth, the Fujuyak stones began to latch onto anything living and devour them. The spread was slow at first but over the span of two-hundred years the Fujuyak Crystals consumed all plant life. Species were unable to support themselves with food or shelter and eventually began to turn to cannibalism and in the end starved to death. Without the plantlife oxygen began to deplete and eventually all life was extinct aside from the living crystals.

The Crystals evolved and rooted themselves into the rock much like a plant would. Without life to eat they developed the ability to absorb carbon dioxide and release oxygen. The atmosphere is breathable but other life has not yet begun to show.
